What a dismal ending to 2004/What will 2005 bring?

Tonight at midnight. Import quotas protecting american textile workers are ending. The Bush admonistration has refused the extend them. This will increase Chinas share of textiles globally from 20% to possibly 85%. and could affect some 680,000 workers here in the U.S. For Textile workers here in the U.S. Catostraphic in not exaggerating.

I would have thought the Dow Jones would make 11000 for the year. At least. But alas, the Dow could not even do that. If you in invested internationally you did very well. check out the ticker symbol EFA. the Euro has gottne stronger and will continue to get stronger. A;beit slower I suspect.
